Janet Crawford

Janet Crawford“Applying neuroscience to leadership matters. Intelligence is our greatest strategic asset, yet we live and work profoundly out of sync with our own biology. The fundamental role of great leadership is to create places of work where the highest level of collective intelligence can emerge and flourish. If any one of your employees is not showing up to work with full brain/ body engagement, you are squandering your only true competitive advantage.

There are only two choices: fight our biology or leverage it. As we understand more neuroscience, true leadership will become defined as the art of creating brain-friendly organizations. My vision is a world where innovation, engagement, health, caring and account-ability are common denominators in business.

Janet Crawford, Principal of Cascadance, has over 15 years of experience coaching and consulting with executives in Fortune 500 companies and high potential start-ups. Through aligning business with human biological design, she primes leaders and organizations for productivity, innovation and collaboration in the 21 st Century. Her approach combines traditional leadership development and executive coaching with cutting-edge insights from neuroscience, anthropology and evolutionary biology. She is expert at identifying the key changes in leadership behavior and corporate culture that catalyze cascades of positive transformation throughout organizations. Her vision is a world where innovation, engagement, health, caring and accountability are common denominators in business.
